Up on the northside at the World Famous Kenton Club we've got Thee Headliner's CD Release Party for their self-released LP The Kids Are Awry. They've also got DJ Callie Danger spinning tunes throughout the 3 set evening. That's right - I said 3 sets of ass-shaking rock n'roll. Thee Headliners are keepin' it real, yo.
Across town over at The Spare Room on the eastside, you've got a heady night of retro-swagger starting with DJ Drew Groove, The MoonSpinners from Seattle and headliners Les Etrangers, who have got your sexy 60's French-pop standards covered, baby.
Choices, huh? - good to have - a bitch to make. If anyone wants to rent a fancy towncar that will dash us back and forth between these two venues all evening (as long we can keep our cocktails in hand at all times) count me in...
