Walker Wednesday

Dolls, dudes, dot your boards! Tonight at Holocene there's a few bands - including my fave rave Worms (who haven't played a show together in 2 1/2 years!) - playing a tribute evening to Scott Walker. Friday Night Fabs

So much good music happening this Friday May 18th in sunny (!!!) Pdx. Up on the northside at the World Famous Kenton Club we've got Thee Headliner's CD Release Party for their self-released LP The Kids Are Awry. They've also got DJ Callie Danger spinning tunes throughout the 3 set evening. That's right - I said 3 sets of ass-shaking rock n'roll. Thee Headliners are keepin' it real, yo.

Across town over at The Spare Room on the eastside, you've got a heady night of retro-swagger starting with DJ Drew Groove, The MoonSpinners from Seattle and headliners Les Etrangers, who have got your sexy 60's French-pop standards covered, baby.

Choices, huh? - good to have - a bitch to make. If anyone wants to rent a fancy towncar that will dash us back and forth between these two venues all evening (as long we can keep our cocktails in hand at all times) count me in...
